Graham Onions Benefit Year

In 2015 England and Durham fast bowler Graham Onions was granted a benefit year by Durham CCC to mark 10 years with the club.

We were extremely happy to be involved with the design and development of the benefit year website for Durham & England cricketer, Graham Onions. The requirement was to create an effective information resource, which would promote a number of special events taking place across the year and also to help Graham raise awareness and money for his chosen charities.

On the homepage a news feed displays three forthcoming events, to engage and draw people into the site. An events calendar provides a full overview of the benefit year listings, whilst each event has a dedicated landing page with further information, images and enquiry links. A social media feed on the homepage encourages customer engagement and displays the latest news and updates, whilst the profile page includes an embedded video facility. The ecommerce functionality allows tickets and merchandise to be purchased through the site, quickly and easily.
