We were invited by the Head Teacher of Percy Main Primary School to come up with a friendly easy to use Primary school website that would appeal to children and parents.
Working with key members of staff we got to know the school and identified the four schools houses: The Angel of the North, Tynemouth Priory, St Mary’s Lighthouse and the Tyne Bridge. We used the school houses as a starting point to create the beautiful illustrations which provide the backdrop to the website.
It was essential that the site met the Ofsted requirements highlighting Pupil Premium, Staff details, Key stage information as well as highlighting the day to day running of the school and school trips. The website is now an important resource for parents who can find out information about school dinners, view photos from school trips and download school forms. The staff also have their own online ‘Staff room’ which is password protected.
